Wrapped in craft paper. Finished with scrapbook flair. Stuffed with surprises.
I create cozy, hand-wrapped Blind Dates with Books using mostly pre-loved titles wrapped in brown craft paper and finished with fun scrapbook-style sleeves. Each package comes with little reading goodies like bookmarks, pens, stickers, or highlighters — everything you need for a perfect one-night escape with a book.
I’m also working with indie authors to offer brand-new books by independent creators, so you can support new voices while enjoying something fresh and unexpected.
I want to be crystal clear: You are purchasing a curated reading experience. The physical book itself is not for sale—it is a GIFT included with your purchase.
What you're actually investing in is our time, effort, and expertise in hand-selecting a book we believe will resonate with you. This includes: sourcing quality reads from various places, carefully wrapping your selection with care and personality, adding delightful extras like bookmarks, pens, and stickers to enhance the unboxing experience, and—perhaps most challengingly—crafting mysterious, intriguing descriptions that entice without spoiling the title or plot. That creative curation is what you're paying for. The book itself comes to you as a gift.
We gather books from many places: thrift stores, garage sales, private donations, and new purchases. This sourcing approach lets us find quality reads while keeping prices accessible and keeping books out of landfills.
We do our best to find books in excellent condition, but some books may show minor signs of love: slight wear on edges, damage from sticker removal, gentle creasing on covers, or previous markings (which may come from original readers or from advance copies). You're purchasing with the understanding that the book you receive may have these marks. We don't itemize condition issues, so please purchase knowing this possibility.
We seek out standalone novels, but finding perfect standalones is genuinely difficult. You may receive: first books in series, books set in wider universes, or higher-numbered series entries that work as connected standalones. When we can feasibly do so—depending on availability and pricing—we'll add companion books in the series. We label series books clearly to the best of our knowledge, though some titles can be complex and details may occasionally be unclear in available resources.
Our purpose is simple: to spread the love of reading by giving books another life. Every book has potential, and we're committed to matching great stories with readers who'll treasure them.
We are also working diligently to source books written by independent authors, in order to give all of their hard work a larger market than they might receive alone.
I sell exclusively at local craft shows — here’s where I’ll be next:
